“Dr. Kavita Prasad —founder of Mahakavi Jaishankar Prasad Trust, is great grand-daughter of Mahakavi Jaishankar Prasad”, a great-poet, playwright, story-writer, novelist and essayist, promoter of the Chhayavadi Era. She was born and raised in "Prasad Mandir", Govardhan Sarai, Chetganj, Varanasi (Kashi), the ancestral home of the great-poet Jaishankar Prasad. Her mother is Smt. Krishna Devi and father is Shri. Anand Shankar Prasad (son of Shri. Ratna Shankar Prasad, grand-son of the great-poet Mahakai Jaishankar Prasad).
